Purpose and vision
The Board Association works on a non-profit basis to strengthen board work in Danish companies, organisations and institutions. Through conferences, knowledge sharing, competence development and collaboration with the business community and academia, we contribute to the development of professional board work as a field of expertise. Our ambition is to strengthen value creation in businesses and society through stronger boards and better corporate governance.
Networking
The Board Association's more than 1,200 members make up a strong professional network of board members, leaders and decision-makers.
As a member, you get access to ongoing knowledge sharing and dialogue with like-minded people through the association's conferences and activities.
The network creates relationships across businesses, industries and forms of ownership, and provides opportunities for sparring on current challenges and opportunities in board work.
Conferences
The Board Association's conferences provide insight into both classic and current themes within board work, including value creation, governance, board leadership, AI, ESG, geopolitics, risk management and executive remuneration.
As a member, you are also invited to events such as the New Year's reception and Foundation Day, amongst others.
At our events, topics are typically illuminated from multiple perspectives. Academic angles are complemented by insights from professors, board chairs, board members and top advisers within the relevant field. We place great emphasis on dialogue and the exchange of experience between speakers and participants.
Most events offer both physical and virtual participation and are typically held between 17.00 and 19.00. In addition, we regularly hold short Board Briefs, typically between 9.30 and 10.30.
